Musical theatre Matilda the Musical
This lesson we focused on the singing aspect of the school song and we did breathing through the abrupt pitch changes in the song, we started with a piano scales led vocal warm up and we discussed alterations of the key changes for different ranges, then we split into the same two groups and began rehearsals focusing mainly on the singing and we also talked about different harmonies after we’d gone ahead and learnt the last part of the song and we put in higher and lower parts for everyone to be able to achieve then we ran through some choreography and made sure our timing and breathing points in the singing worked properly
